PROMENON HEALTH PRODUCTS, INC. - Was founded by Dr. M.K. Menon, a leading U.S. Pharmacologist and Neuroscientist. During thirty years of biomedical research Dr. Menon was the chairman of an internationally known U.S. Government research laboratory and a senior scientist at The University of California School of Medicine. Dr. Menon has published over 100 scientific papers in his specialized field.

In 1994, development of a treatment for hair loss became Dr. Menon’s new area of interest. Promenon Health Products, Inc. was formed for research and development. Currently Dr. Menon is the president and research director of this company.







The active ingredients are derived from nine ancient herbs known to have the ability to improve the health of scalp and hair. Also included are U.S. FDA - approved cosmetic ingredients and fragrance. All ingredients have a well-established safety record.

DEVELOPMENT OF MENTRUST™ AND FEMTRUST™
Several carefully guarded steps result in the production of a lotion of high purity and effectiveness. Dr. Menon identifies ancient herbs, spending years testing and choosing the specific parts that will help hair growth. An innovative procedure is used to extract the active fraction from the freshly cut parts. The concentrate is further processed using appropriate synergistic ingredients.

Initially Dr. Menon's colleagues — mostly scientists, pharmacists and physicians, began using the lotions to treat their hair loss. The lotion was test marketed through pharmacies and users were satisfied with improvements the lotion produced on their hair through regular use. While some observed major improvements, others were happy with the moderate improvements the lotion produced on their hair. There were no side effects.

A prominent dermatologist in Los Angeles was so impressed with the effectiveness of MENtrust™ in correcting the hair loss of his patients, that he recommended its availability to the public through pharmacies. A large scale distribution abroad followed.

The relatively weak effectiveness of MENtrust™ in women led us to formulate FEMtrust™. It differs from MENtrust™ mainly in the concentration of selected herbal ingredients. The effectiveness of FEMtrust™ in preventing hairloss in women is now well established.
